O’DONNELL

Mr. John David “JD” O’Donnell,age 18 of Blackberry Mountain Road, Ellijay, GA died Tuesday July 24, 2012.

Mr. O’Donnell was born July 6, 1994 in Floyd County, GA. He was a member of the 2012 Class of Gilmer High School and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Baker O’Donnell.

Survivors include: Father and step-mother: David and Beth O’Donnell, Ellijay; Sister: Kacie Charles, Ellijay; Brothers: Terry Baker, Derek Vanover, Dustin Vanover, Dawson Vanover, all of Ellijay; Aunts: Nell Copeland and Louise Wood, both of Ellijay; Cousin: David Elliot, Blue Ridge

Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 31st, 2012 at 2pm from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Rubin Smith, Rev. Glenn Arnold, and Pastor Irene Wofford officiating.

Family will receive friends Monday, July 30th from 5pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.

Entombment will follow in Yukon Cemetery.
